Leanne is a registered Clinical Psychologist and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). She graduated with honours from La Trobe University holding a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Whilst at La Trobe, Leanne conducted research into the Wise Ways to Win conflict resolution method, she also worked on a variety of other psychological research projects related to child development and pre and postnatal emotions. She has also worked in the community health sector in both general counselling and in drug and alcohol counselling.
In 2012 she established her own practise, This Moment Psychology, where she continues to work with a range of clients including individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents. She provides therapy, counselling and treatment for a range of issues including; substance abuse, trauma recovery, healing for adult survivors of sexual abuse, depression and anxiety, eating disorders, relationship issues, postnatal depression and anxiety, parenting, self-esteem and confidence.

FEES
This Moment Psychology believes that finance should not limit anyone's access to mental health care, therefore we work on a sliding scale. This means we charge our clients according to what they can afford. Fees will be discussed at the time of booking your initial session. We are also registered to provide services under NDIS funding, Work Safe and TAC
MEDICARE
It is not necessary to have a referral from a GP to see a Psychologist. However, Medicare initiatives mean that having a referral is likely to make therapy far more affordable. Medicare rebates are available through the Medicare Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative for those referred by a GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician under a Mental Health Treatment Plan. As Leanne is a Clinical Psychologist you are able to receive the highest level of Medicare rebate. The rebate is currently $129.55 per session for a maximum of 10 sessions in a calendar year.
